Haworthia scottii grows amongst ferri-crete pebbles in the Calitzdorp district.
The plants appear to be linked to Haworthia arachnoidea , but Haworthia scottii has shorter flower stalks and thicker leaves that are sometimes slightly translucent (See also Haworthia erii )
